Indoor Air Quality Facts:

• People spend approximately 90% of their time indoors
• Levels of airborne pollutants may be 25-100 times higher indoors than outdoors
• 80%-90% of most people's exposure to pesticides occurs indoors
• Most homes have more than 1 source of air pollution
• High humidity & wet surfaces can encourage the growth of biological pollutants
• 1 in 5 (20%) of homes has a gas leak
• 1 in 4 (25%) of homes has carbon monoxide venting problems
• 98% of buildings have visible mold growth and of those buildings 60% contain toxic mold growth
